This weekend, my husband and I spotted the graphic above in the online edition of The National Post. At first glance I thought it might be similar to the infamous ‘spaghetti slide’ published by The New York Times last year. But the more we looked at it, the more we started diving into the different circles, marveling at some of them and talking about possible reasons for others being bigger or smaller than we expected. In short, this graphic was a conversation starter. Sometimes all you need is one powerful visual to present your story. Put this into a zooming tool like Prezi and you would have a dynamic narrative that could adapt quickly to the comments or questions from your audience.
